A numerical approach is proposed for study the static and dynamic behaviour of anisotropic cylindrical thick shells with noncircular cross section within the framework of three-dimensional elasticity theory. Efficiency of the approach is supported by the solution of a wide class of problems. Influence of the character of loading as well as mechanical and geometrical parameters on the static and dynamic behavior of mechanical objects is studied.
