Transaction-level modeling (TLM) is an important modeling technique within SystemC in system level design. It can improve the simulation speed, simplify the design flow, and shorten the time to market. In order to generate this transaction-level model quickly and automatically, we proposed a new method of building TLM by a few of transformations from HCDFG which has been widely used in system model representation, The proposed process includes the following three steps: 1. generate control signal graph; 2. link data flow; 3. fix granularity. Based on these transformation techniques, a practical and efficient transaction-level model can be generated automatically for assisting designers to achieve architecture space exploration. Finally, we analyzed the new characteristics of HCDFG-n which is an extended intermediate representation model and introduced the corresponding transformation method to them.
