摘要

Aims: To find simple and convenient method for determination of the total content of the flavonoids in wastewater. Methods & Results:Large amount of vinasse (molasses alcohol wastewater) is produced during alcohol production by sugarcane molasses. Thevinasse was pretreated by non-water ethyl alcohol then the flavonoids in it were determinated by spectrophotometry in which rutin was used as standard substance. That was a relatively rapid method for determination of the total content of the flavonoidsin wastewater since it can eliminate the interference of other compositions, it has high repetition rate, and the average recovery was 97.23%. Significance of Study: This research provided the theoretical basis for the extraction and exploitation of theflavonoids in wastewater.
