摘要

Aim: To evaluate the efficacy of SO_2 estimation in granulated sugar by pararosaniline hydrochloride method. Methods & Results: One of the most important qualitative indexes about white granulated sugar is the content of SO_2, and the national standard method for determination the SO_2 in white granulated sugar is pararosaniline hydrochloride method (GB/T5009.55), but the reproducibility of this method is not very good. This paper researched on the determination of SO_2 in white granulated sugar by pararosaniline hydrochloride method, the sources of uncertainty components were analyzed, and the individual uncertainty value was evaluated. At last, the composed uncertainty and the expanded uncertainty of the determination of the method was given.Significance of Study: In order to estimate SO_2 accurately, we must control the experimental condition strictly, and when we do repetitive measuring, we must weigh the same mass of sugar, reduce human error as possible as we can.
