The last year's two major questions have been driven in the propellant business. Green and temperature stable propellants are needed. Eurenco propellant division focus on both these areas and this poster describes the performance of temperature insensitive propellants that are in serial production as well as new products under development. The difference between a temperature insensitive propellant compared to the ordinary premium propellants Eurenco produce, is that the performance is close to unchanged even if the temperature changes. This is required for some applications, such as sniper ammunition, where the performance has to be independent on conditions during firing. The work is now at a level where the propellants behaviour is under very good control and many new products are on the way.
