The catalysis of the catalysts of A-Pb, the mixture of A-Pb and A-Cu, and the mixture of A-Pb, A-Cu and carbon black for the combustion properties of composite modified double base propellant were studied in present paper. The results show that the plateau-burning is attained by A-Pb, the pressure range of plateau-burning is 2MPa~4MPa, the burning-rate of plateau is about 5.6mm/s. The burning-rate is increased by the mixture of A-Pb and A-Cu and the pressure range of plateau-burning is broadened further, the pressure range of plateau-burning is 2MPa~ 10MPa, the burning-rate of plateau is about 9mm/s. Some broad plateau-burning composite modified double base propellant, whose pressure exponent is less 0.2 in 4MPa ~ 20MPa and burning-rate is 17mm/s~22mm/s, was obtained by the use of the mixture of A-Pb, A-Cu and carbon black.
