摘要

Organizational knowledge and organizational learning have become important concepts in business research and practice. As research in this field grows, so does the need for new frameworks, models and constructs to study the associated phenomena. This paper contributes in this regard by developing a strategy-environment-performance relationship from a knowledge-based perspective. In this perspective, strategy is conceptualized as organizational learning strategy, consisting of knowledge breadth, multiple-loop learning, and knowledge acquisition. The knowledge environment and its dimensions of knowledge dynamism, knowledge munificence, and knowledge complexity are theorized to moderate the relationship between organizational learning strategy and performance.
