While focusing the importance of manufacturing strategy, we started our discussion from Ferdows'[4] model to explain the human resource management aspects of international manufacturing plant. Mainly we discussed the path from offshore to source to lead, we considered the plant organization such as process oriented and product oriented. Based on this, we combined Mintzberg [13] and Miles & Snow [12] to see the different aspects of Human resource management. Main result was that the more organic and decentralized the organization structure, the more performance based Human resource management is required to respond the labor market trends. For the future research direction, more case studies or survey methods based on instrument development need to be implemented for validation of our results.
