The Liquilyzer ? - simultaneous determination of extract, alcohol, CO2 and original gravity directly from the package with no pre-test calibration

The new and innovative IR-device Liquilyzer ? enables quality control analysis directly from filled cans or bottles within less than a minute. With no requirement for pre-test calibration, the package is placed in the piercing device, pierced and all values can be PC-displayed, stored for reference or trends. Ingredients like sugar, alcohol, CO CO2 or proteins show a particular absorption due to their molecular structure in the ultra-red spectrum. This absorption can be used like a fingerprint. Using Attenuated- ttenuated-Total- otal-Reflection (ATR) methodology all relevant substances can be analysed simultaneously and highly precise. They exhibit several absorption bands in different spectral ranges; due to this the component mixture can be qualitatively and quantitatively determined by using a specific evaluation matrix.
