The real value in a training program such as this, centers around heightening the level of awareness of each crewmember to work together and be on the lookout for signs of hypoxia. It is this complete crew coordination that determines the success of this program. By showing each crewmember what hypoxia looks like and more importantly feels like, we can demonstrate in a convenient, safe and effective way, the insidious nature of this problem and hopefully an increase in the overall awareness in the entire flight department.
