Pharmaceutical cocrystals represent an emerging class of solid drug formulations. They can significantly increase the number of possible crystal forms for a particular active pharmaceutical ingredient (API), each with different physicochemical properties. One of the main aims in co-crystallization is the improvement of the API bioavailability. [1]
