摘要

This paper presents a new model for prediction of wave propagation in indoor and outdoor environments. The method is based on 2D ray-tracing techniques using Image Theory (IT) to take into account all valid paths. The computation of fields is based on Geometrical Optics (GO) and Uniform Theory of Diffraction (UTD). A new approach for transmitted rays through the walls is proposed and validated by comparison with results obtained through FDTD method.
