An EXPERT SYSTEM for WEB SITE NAVIGATION using CLIENT SIDE SCRIPTING

摘要

This paper introduces a system of knowledge classification, collection and display in the form navigation links via an abstracted web service & web client. The system uses a knowledge domain ontology to classify content. The content is then automatically collected and updated via a web spider which stores the content in a knowledge base. Content is chosen by an inference engine that is implemented as a web service. Finally display and navigation are handled by a novel implementation of a display client using a web user agent as the execution host.
