Phase-resolved nonlinear response of modulation-doped quantum wells under femtosecond intersubband excitation

Coherent nonlinear propagation of ultrafast electric field transients through intersubband resonances of GaAs/AlGaAs quantum wells shows Rabi oscillations for low electron densities, while radiative coupling between quantum wells dominates the nonlinearity at high densities.
