A new continuous roll wave model is presented for horizontal and inclined two-phase pipe flow. The solutions from this model will be compared with experimentally obtained quantities consisting of wave length, height, celerity, pressure gradient and holdup. Over eight-hundred experiments were performed in a 25m long 10cm i.d. pipe using water and SF6 at θ = 0.00, 0.10, 0.25 and 1.00 degree inclinations at 8 bara. The gas SF6 was chosen because it matches gas condensate pipeline conditions at this pressure.
