The technology of the partially bonding and partially prestressing is applied to enhance the deformability and the ductility of concrete beams with CFRP reinforcement. The performance of concrete T beams prestressed by CFRP tendon has been studied in this paper. The experimental program consists of four beams with two fully bonded and two partially bonded in tendons. An overview of the flexural behaviors of the beams is presented including preliminary comments on aspects of ductility. Some test results are compared with the corresponding analytical ones and a good agreement can be found.
