摘要

The roughness of the Central America subduction interface near Costa Rica and Nicaragua is estimated using multiple datasets. The along-strike and down-dip variations in roughness are compared with static and dynamic earthquake source parameters, calculated from source spectra of recorded earthquakes. These data are also compared with previous locations of large earthquakes and geodetic models of interface coupling.
