摘要

The recently developed Enriched Scaled Boundary Finite Element Method (enrSBFEM) is applied to the calculation of the singular stress fields in 3D crack configurations in cross-ply laminates (e.g. two matrix cracks meeting at the interface). Moreover, incremental energy release rates for probable subsequent crack situations are determined using the enrSBFEM. Then, the concept of Finite Fracture Mechanics (FFM) together with a coupled stress and energy criterion can be employed.
