Strain localisation analyses for generic textures in FCC aluminium alloys are conducted for general three-dimensional stress states by the use of an imperfection band model. An anisotropic porous plasticity model is used to describe the material inhomogeneity. The plastic anisotropy is governed by the phenomenological Yld2004-18p yield criterion. Results from the analyses demonstrate the prominent influence of the texture on the ductility predictions.
