Novel aluminum-carbon NanoTubes (CNT) micro-composite has been produced by Mechanical Milling (MM) process followed by pressure-less sintering during 3h at 823 K under vacuum. As-sintered specimens were evaluated in their mechanical properties by using a compression test. Yield stress (σ_y) and maximum strength (σ_(max)) values reached in the composites are considerably higher than those reported for pure aluminum and experimental values found in pure aluminum samples prepared by using the same route. σ_y and σ_(max) values increase as the CNT content increase as well. Milling time and CNT concentration have an important effect on mechanical properties in final products.
