True Lambdoid Craniosynostosis: Results of Long-Term Surgical and Conservative Therapy

True lambdoid craniosynostosis is a rare entity, accounting for 1-3% of all cases of craniosynostosis (1:40,000 live births). Although ample literature exists focusing upon clinical diagnosis and surgical technique , few reports have established the long-term outcome of conservative and surgical management. The aim of this study is to elaborate on the clinical course of patients with true lambdoid synostosis treated both surgically and conservatively at a large craniofacial center.
