M1-class for office furniture with textile coverings and paddings

摘要

The Building Information Foundation RTS started the M1-labelling of building products in 1996, named Emission Classification of Building Materials and Cleanliness Classification of Air-handling Components. The new specific requirements and criteria proposal of the classification is for office furniture with paddings and textile coverings. It is developed especially for office chairs. It is a remarkable step for the future development of other criteria and further research of indoor air pollutants.
