Evaluation of measurement methods to accompany recommendations for indoor air quality guidelines in France

To accompany indoor air quality guideline (IAQG) values, since 2011 ANSES has been conducting a critical assessment of measurement methods to formulate recommendations. A methodological approach was developed based on the general requirements for carrying out procedures for the measurement of chemical agents concerning workplace exposure (NF EN 482, 2006) and on a classification into two categories. The validation data of the different methods available and their applicability to substance concentration measurements for comparison with an IAQG were assessed.
