This article presents the fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV) power supply system configuration scheme, and proposes a topology of high power dual-phase boost DC-DC converter. The operating principle of the converter is analyzed thoroughly. The state-space-averaged model of the system is developed, and based on the small signal transfer function the two-loop controllers were designed. A 150 kW DC-DC converter is constructed, which is controlled by DSP. The experimental results show that the converter has excellent electrical characteristics, and it can be applied in the FCEV as well as the fuel cell distributed generation system.
