摘要

The potential of high temperature membrane separation in a power cycle with pre-combustion decarbonisation has been investigated. Integration of CO_2 selective membranes with Water-Gas-Shift (WGS) reactors has been evaluated using a two-dimensional membrane reactor model. A comparison between cycles with WGS-H_2-selective and WGS-CO_2-selective membrane reactors is done using the membrane reactor model combined with Hysys simulations. Increasing the pressure in the autothermal reformer has given promising results for the WGS-H_2-selective membrane, whereas the WGS-CO_2-selective membrane shows the best efficiency at lower pressures.
