摘要

The IEEE 802.3af standard is likely a spur to the existing network innovations and opens a new dimension to power system design. The paper describes the current status of power over Ethernet and the advantages of the IEEE 802.3af standard. According to the characters of IP broadcast system, the power system structure, the features and the functions of TPS2383 are studied. In the end, the detailed hardware design of the power over Ethernet has been present. In the meantime, the emphasis of the software design is also given.
