Growth of SiO_x nanowires

摘要

SiOx nanowire bunches were obtained on Ni(NO_3)_2*6H_2O solution deposited Si(111) substrates. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) shows that the SiOx nanowires are amorphous and sometimes form a core/shell structure with the crystalline core contaloing Ga, Ni, Si and O, and the amorphous shell containing Si and O.
