Disrupting the dry skin cycle -Clinical efficacy

On the basis of the principles discussed in the preceding chapter, P&G have developed HEBM ('high-efficacy body moisturizer'). This product has been subjected to rigorous clinical testing using a combination of methodologies and protocols. Moreover, it has been tested against other high-efficacy body moisturizers currently available in the marketplace to establish its uniqueness and efficacy in moderating the dry skin cycle. A brief overview of the methods and results of this testing are described below.
