APPLICATION OF RADIO OVER FIBER TECHNOLOGY TO ENABLECONVERGED OPTICAL AND WIRELESS NEXT GENERATIONNETWORKING

摘要

A novel approach to the future hybrid communicationnetwork capable to support the traffic of different kind,e.g. real time and packet traffic and wireless signal in asingle transparent network is proposed. The proposedmodel combines different technologies as connection andconnectionless networking, optical cable and wireless(microwave/ millimeter wave or optical wireless) and it issuitable for a variety of purposes and services in order toachieve global broadband networking.
