Theoretical and experimental evaluations of potentialcapabilities of Noise Radar Technology (NRT) in designand development of radar sensors are presented.Derivation of Ambiguity Function for Pulsed NoiseWaveform is given. Theoretical basis for Noise Radardesign and three different methods for coherentprocessing of Noise Radar returns are briefly described.Interference immunity and probability of interception forNR as well as current and future applications of NRT arepresented. In concluding remarks, the methods andexisting technologies for design and development of NRTkey components are listed and the nearest tasks for NRTdevelopments are pointed out.
