Dynamic Analysis of Soil Erosion Variation in the Source Area of the Yellow River

摘要

With the help of geographic information system (GIS) and remote sensing (RS) technology, this paper made an analysis of soil erosion in the source area of the Yellow River in respect of environmental attribute, erosion factor and erosion process, identifying the erosion characteristics and erosion type and zoning of this area. This is a significant progress in theory and practice for freeze - thaw erosion type study and primary influence factor analysis. No doubt, this will provide an active promotion to the development of soil erosion discipline and the layout of soil and water conservation work in our country.
