In this paper, some regularities about the air flow field in a vortex tube are analyzed and described. Also the spinning principle is studied. Inside a vortex tube, the twisting is finished by an air vortex which rotates in a high speed; the "condensing" and the "stripping" which are keys to the spinning principle are finished at the same time; a fiber ring is piled up by fiber stream conveyed many times, as has a definite doubling efficiency; there is a relative velocity between the "seed" yarn and the fiber ring, so "seed" yarn strips the fiber ring.
