One of the major changes from the 1994 edition of ISO 9000 to IS09001:2000 is the emphasis on a process-based approach to quality and business management What is the best way to map processes within your company? Fortunately,the standard allows quite a bit of latitude;therefore,companies have the freedom to design process maps that fit their unique needs.This paper presents the 1509001:2000 process-mapping requirements and illustrates processes maps from several industries,along with development tools and auditing techniques.
