Participatory Legislative and Regulatory Reform An Example of Empowering Quality in Communities

Members of a community must be afforded opportunities to participate in improving quality in those things that directly affect them. By encouraging community participation we can facilitate better solutions to the complex social issues of today. Active involvement makes it easier for community members to accept the final solution. This paper will use a legislative review of health and safety and laws to demonstrate how community involvement can lead to a successful outcome.
