Vinci? Upper Stage Engine Development, Test, Qualification, and Industrialisation Status for Ariane 6

摘要

This paper describes the status of the Vinci engine for the Ariane 6 upper stage, its design modifications applied for Ariane 6, the performed development and qualification tests, and the ongoing activities to industrialise the manufacturing with a yearly production rate higher than for Ariane 5. The qualification is almost obtained; some last verifications and test demonstration are ongoing. The engine will be fully qualified in 2019 in view of the first Ariane 6 launch in 2020.
