Update on the Brain Attack Coalition

As the Brain Attack Coalition's mission statement defines it, the Coalition represents "a group of professional, voluntary and governmental entities dedicated to reducing the occurrence, disabilities and death associated with stroke." It is comprised of representatives from the major professional organizations whose specialties deal in stroke, as well as private organizations whose mission is to further the public awareness of stroke, its symptoms, and its appropriate treatment. Such private entities include the American Stroke Association and the National Stroke Association.
