Pre-connectorized Ultra-High-Density Optical Fiber Cable with Small Pulling Cable End and Adjustable Excess Length Part

摘要

This paper describes pre-connectorized optical fiber cable with adjustable excess length. This cable has a coiled cable part at a cable end that is used to cope with excess cable length after cable installation. We determined the allowable coil diameter to achieve stable and low loss characteristics and sufficient long term reliability. Moreover, the performance of a 100-fiber connector and a small pulling cable end was confirmed to be excellent.
