Taking the Tibetan areas of Sichuan province as examples, this article researches the environmental security of fragile ecological region with the background of economic development. Through a simulation study, the article reveals that developing eco-tourism industry in this area is sustainable, and the economic development model should be based on environmental protection and rehabilitation. Research result will provide theoretical support for decision on environmental security in fragile ecological region of western China.
