This study tests the hypothesis that group exams help students in IS classes. Both quantitative and qualitative analyses of several experiments found significantly higher group scores (compared to individual scores), few of the behavioral problems often attributed to group exams, objective conflict resolution, favorable student perceptions, and several additional, positive factors.
