THE EFFECT OF INDIVIDUAL DIFFERENCES, CULTURE, ANXIETY AND COMPUTER SELF-EFFICACY ON USER PERFORMANCE

The purpose of this research is to comprehensively examine the relationships between computer anxiety, culture, computer self-efficacy (CSE), and user performance in a training setting. To accomplish this, previously validated instruments will be used to measure culture, anxiety and computer self-efficacy. The effects of these variables on performance, both hands-on and conceptual, will be investigated. The results of the study will be presented at the 2004 Meeting of the Decision Sciences Society.
