The use of iontophoresis to enhance cisplatin penetration through the skin was studied for future treatment of skin cancer. The effect of the pH as its iontophoretic delivery was evaluated. It seems that iontophoresis does not increase the penetration of the cisplatin significantly when compared with its passive flux.
