摘要

Porous PCL tissue scaffolds produced from supercritical fluid foaming (SCF) were used to successfully attach, grow and proliferate chondrocytes. SCF foaming afforded excellent control over the porous structure of the scaffold. Foams were also found to possess suitable mechanical properties to withstand dynamic loads invivo. This study suggests SCF foamed PCL scaffolds are suitable candidates for tissue engineering.
