摘要

Original nanoprecipitation method for nanoparticle production [1], well-adapted for the entrapment of lipophilic drugs, was modified to enable successful protein incorporation. A new MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry (MS) method was used to quantify accurately the amount of insulin in the nanoparticles and to assess the integrity of its primary structure after the nanoparticle formation.
