To raise the level of tumoricidal antibodies and inhibit tumor growth, the immunization with mono-nucleosomes (mNS) was performed in nude mice bearing human NCI-H82 (small lung cancer) and PC-3 (prostate carcinoma) tumors in both, prophylactic and therapeutic models. The immunization with mNSs was found to increase the blood level of NS-specific antibodies and strongly inhibit the tumor growth in both models.
