摘要

Uniform gelatin microspheres with precisely controlled size and size distribution were fabricated by combined use of acoustic excitation, carrier stream, particle charging, and water-in-oil emulsion method. A low-temperature bath was used to facilitate gellation of the gelatin drops. Reproducibility and precision of the fabrication process was enhanced by computer-based control of the acoustic excitation and the carrier stream flow.
