EXPLOSIVES NOTIFIED BODIES - FOR SAFETY IN EUROPE

Directive 93/15/EEC has been given on 5th of April 1993. The transition period often years became to it's end in 31st of December 2002. Now nearly all the commercial explosives placed on the market and transfered in Europan Union and EFTA countries have been tested and awarded by the CE-marking. These tests have not been done according to the harmonized CEN-standard series, but according to the national or other well-known standards of the member state. However, all the Notified Bodies in Europe have been working for safety on the field of commercial explosives and the security of these products have now been confirmed and is in higher level than in 1993 when the directive 93/15/EEC was given.
