High-pressure ~(57)Fe Moessbauer measurements of octamethyl-ethynyl-ferrocene (OMFA) were performed using a diamond anvil cell (DAC) in order to clarify the pressure effects on the phase transition occurring at ~248 K. A sharp resonance can be seen at 300 K and 12.6 GPa, suggesting a pressure-induced recovery to a rather large Lamb-Moessbauer factor. The resonance effect gradually decreases with a decrease of the external pressure.
