摘要

A measurement system for compound-semiconductor absorption spectra is being implemented in the Institute of Free Electron Laser, Osaka University. Since the FEL operates with ultra-short pulses having a complex pulse structure, it is necessary to generate near-infrared/visible pulses synchronized with the FEL pulses in order to measure absorption spectra of compound semiconductors with high accuracy. We used a mode-locked Nd:YLF laser for generating the synchronous near-infrared/visible beams. The generated beam of the Nd:YLF laser has been confirmed to synchronize with the FEL pluses.
