Monitoring Land Use and Land Cover in Uttaradit province by ASTER data

摘要

This project is the joint research project between LDD (Land Development Department) and ERSDAC (Earth Remote Sensing Data Analysis Center of Japan) to study land use and land cover by ASTER-VNIR data.The objective is to develop the new satellite data to be used for application on land use and land cover mapping.The advantage of ASTER high resolution will express better interpretation and clearly defined for natural resources as well. Result show that VNIR data can be used to classify agricultural field, forest types, highly densed urban area, etc.
