The conventional disposal of Incinerator Bottom Ash (IBA) is landfill. The study tried to evaluate the possibilities of IBA to be fine aggregate of Dense Grade Asphalt Concrete (DGAC) in laboratory. The laboratory tests included mixture design and performance tests. In the test sets, The IBA replacements of fine aggregate in DGAC were 10%, 20%. According to the experiment results, IBA would replace partial fine aggregate in DGAC. Because too much IBA additions would causes higher asphalt content and particle densification, the proposal maximum IBA replacement of fine aggregate in DGAC is 30%. On the basis of performances results, DGAC with IBA were also similar to original set. Based on saving of resources and those results, IBA should be a new option to be Surface material for pavement.
